How do I reach Limassol's New Cruise Terminal?

Coming from Nicosia/Larnaca

Please take the Port exit (last exit heading West) from the Limassol New Port’s round about and hear North towards the Limassol Port. Then you should take the first exit from the round about which will take you to the New Passenger Terminal.

Coming from Paphos:

Please take the Port exit (first exit heading east) from the Limassol New Port’s round about and hear North towards the Limassol Port. Then you should take the first exit from the round about which will take you to the New Passenger Terminal.

Are there car parking facilities at the Cruise terminal?

There are parking facilities adjacent the New Cruise Terminal.

Do I need parking reservations at New Cruise Terminal, and will parking definitely be available?

We currently do not have a reservation system.
Parking lot accommodate 330 parking spots.

What are the parking fees at Limassol’s New Cruise terminal?

Where can I find parking for the disabled?

Parking spaces for disabled are in the parking area, close to Departures and Arrivals hall and are clearly marked in blue colour.

Whom do I need to inform in case I need special assistance?

For any special assistance needed, you should come in contact with your cruise agent and they will take the necessary actions with the port. Otherwise, please call DP World Limassol  T: +357 25 858 700.

Where do I drop my luggage to be sent to the cruise vessel?

The luggage hall is right next to the Departures Hall -number 5 (five)- and you should go first to leave the luggage and then to the Departures Hall.

Are there Duty-Free shops in Limassol’s New Cruise Terminal?

Duty-Free shops operate since November 2018.

How far is the Cruise ship from the departing hall?

Distance from the Departures Hall to the cruise ship depends on where the vessel will berth.
It is approximately about 50 meters away from the Departures Hall.

What's the immigration security screening procedure?

You will have to walk through a metal detector and your belongings will go through the x-ray machine. Make sure you take off and place in your carry-on luggage, your mobile phone, laptop computers/ tablets, and other large or small metal objects, coins, etc. If you have artificial devices, like hip/knee replacements, pacemakers, etc. let the security people know as you approach. The security personnel will make the process as easy and as convenient as possible.

Is there Wi-Fi coverage at the Cruise Terminal?

Yes, there is Wi-Fi at the Cruise Terminal which is free for the first 30 minutes.

How do I get from Cruise Terminal to airports like Larnaca and Paphos?

From Cruise Terminal to Paphos-Larnaca airports, there are two options, taxi or bus.

The most competitive option is to take the Limassol Airport Express bus, which runs 24/7 and costs 9€ for adults, 4€ for children up to 12 years old, and free for children under the age of 3. Tickets can be purchased on the bus, from the driver.

Your second option is to take a Larnaca airport taxi.
Larnaca and Paphos airport taxis use a taximeter, so the cost will depend on the distance to your final destination, the estimated cost is around 60€ one way.

Limassol has an intense Mediterranean climate with a hot, dry summer which begins in mid May and lasts until mid September and with a rainy, but very moderate winter from November until mid March.

Spring and autumn are very brief periods, with very pleasant weather.

The duration of the day, with a very clear sky and sunshine throughout the year, ranges from 9.8 hours in December to 14.5 hours in June.

Summer temperatures during the day range between 22 and 36 degrees Celsius, while in winter they range between 1 and 18 degrees Celsius, depending on the altitude of the area.

The sea temperature is approximately 15.5 degrees Celsius in the winter and 24 degrees Celsius in August and September.
