Message from the CEO

Welcome to Limassol!

Whatever the season, Cyprus provides a plethora of opportunities to experience something new, interesting and exciting, including activities, events, customs and places that are unique and special to the island.

Cyprus is blessed with more than 300 days of sunshine every year and it’s an ideal location for year round cruising.

Limassol is one of the major destinations in the Mediterranean for the cruise industry with the opportunity to be the first port of call for cruise lines after transiting the Suez Canal. The terminal offers fast turnaround times for connections to both Larnaca and Paphos international airports.

DP World Limassol offers a stable, secure, friendly and responsive environment for transit and home port cruising, with numerous destinations in the Eastern Mediterranean being just an overnight sailing.

The state of the art cruise facilities and the 7,000 sqm New Cruise Terminal will leave satisfied both cruise lines and passengers. Cyprus is a destination that offers excellent opportunities both for year round excursions to the unique UNESCO SITES and for those who prefer, a visit to the vibrant City of Limassol located just a breath away from port.

Our close cooperation with all local cruise stakeholders and the major cruise lines enables us to plan common actions aiming at high passenger satisfaction every time.

Many will argue that this part of the world is the most historic offering great choices and many civilizations to explore. It was always the favorite amongst travelers for cruising offering great itineraries and the opportunity to explore the famous Cyprus hospitality and heritage.

Thank you,
